Keep supplier bills, deliveries and balances

Record who you buy from, receive counted stock in parts, and record payments you have already made.

Open Suppliers from Money. Only the current shop owner can use this private book. Staff and shoppers cannot see supplier costs or balances. If setup is unavailable, contact support to activate the database update.

Add a supplier's contact details and the amount you already owed before starting this book. That starting balance stays fixed after saving. Retire a supplier to stop adding new bills; their history remains.

Record purchase bill keeps the supplier's original bill number, date, products, quantities and unit costs. The full bill adds to what you owe. Recording a bill does not change stock or create a sale. A duplicate bill number for the same supplier is refused.

Choose Receive stock on a bill and enter only the quantities that arrived. A partial delivery leaves the remaining quantities open. Counted products and counted colour/size variants gain those units; products without counted stock keep no quantity. Serial-numbered and weight products must use their existing stock tools, and cannot be received here.

Record payment records a payment already made. It reduces supplier debt; it does not send money, change a cash drawer or add a Paid out entry. Keep the existing spending record separately, and avoid counting both as two expenses. Buying prices and profit reports are not automatically updated by this book.

If a save's reply is lost, choose Check previous save. The browser preserves the original request, so checking it does not add the payment or delivery twice. Do not clear browser data before checking an unresolved save.

Backups are a selected tax-record export. Supplier bills, payments and receipts are not included in that ZIP yet; this is not a supplier-book restore tool.
