Two halls, a lawn, and a kitchen that has fed four hundred people since 2006. Book the date first; the rest we can decide over tea.

A kalash is the pot set at the door of anything that matters, and the family that runs this place has put one at the door of about nine hundred weddings. Ramesh and Kabita Adhikari built the first hall on their own land in 2006 and added the lawn when the guest lists stopped fitting. The kitchen is theirs rather than contracted out, which is why they will tell you honestly that four hundred is the number, not six.
